As former Naval Intelligence (AIC Norfolk) this is serious security training for the serious minded. Honestly, I wonder my confidence on a PPO detail with anyone who did not take training from CJ. There are a lot of training courses out there but with no hype intended, go for the best, CJ. Moran.

I am currently working in Iraq with a Contract company doing security work and decided to obtain my PPO license to do security work while at home. The training I received from CJ and his instructors was bar none a very informative and educating class. He taught both real world scenarios and the law to a "T". Also being a Former Marine Recon his defense tactics were both precise and easy to learn for even the beginner. I will have no problem feeling that with this training I will be able to perform the job of PPO at the highest level. And will be able to take some stuff back with me to Iraq on my next tour. This was the first time I did a class with C. J. Moran. He was recommended by my fellow officer and now I understand why. You have to think about your answers instead of just going through the test as a study sheet like other training schools. In this class you learn; this helps you retain the information given and you keep it with you on the job. Other training schools just want you to pass the test and doesn't care if you make or not. This was my two year requalification class and I got more out of it than the original training I did with another training school. If it wasnt for c.j.s class, I woild have probly ended up in jail for wprking unlicensed security jobs.

Time to start hunting for Security and PPO...(Personal Protection Officer) work. We just finished security training in east Houston off Wallisville and Beltway 8. CJ Moran's 21st Century Security Training School took 7 days at $600 to completely be ready. Shooting the pistol and the shot gun was the most fun during qualification, but the most helpful were the security scenarios we went through live without weapons. Learning under instructors who were and are peace officers and currently PPO was extremely valuable to becoming overall prepared to go into the growing employment field of security and PP officers. I don't own a gun yet, so the training will help me to focus why I am purchasing a gun. We trained with new-bees such as myself up to military professionals. I was fully certified in seven days. I can start working today as a non-commissioned officer, not carrying a gun, while I wait for the my commissioned officer pocket card from the State and my employer. Don't expect to become a police officer, but you will know the law and how to work with peace officers.

I do not know what more can be said about Mr. Moran's course. If you want a great education, and are willing to put the effort in getting it, then "just do it" with CJ's course. You need to be legal, know what the law requires, and be safe. The classes are entertaining and complete. There will always be a need for good knowledgeable safe personnel. I completed the course on the 28th of February and found a whole new life out there in this jungle we live in. If you can do it, take the whole package and "Be Prepared" for an eye opening experience. 8 days is all it takes. I just completed C. J. Moran's Level IV P.P.O. training. It was an excellent course which provided concise information regarding many subjects including risk evaluation and threat assessment, security detail planning, defensive tactics, weapons acquisition and much more. The two former students who helped provide technical assistance on day 2 were obviously previously well trained by this course. Integrity and professionalism were stressed throught the course, and was reflected in C.J.'s demeanor. Overall, it was a well executed class and I highly recommend it to anyone who is really serious about obtaining top notch training.

I recently participated in Mr Moran's Level III and IV class. I highly recommend Mr Moran, he is very professional and has great teaching skills. You wont go wrong with any of his classes.

I heard about this school on the Internet. So, I did some investigating into C. J. Moran's-21st Century Security Training thru the Texas Private Security Bureau. Afterwards, I had a good feeling about it. I Just completed the "Total package" course, and found it to be well worth the money and the time invested. C. Being new to the civilian security field I needed to find a class that was reputable and reliable. I found this in CJs classes Level III, IV, and Advanced PPO. The blocks of instruction were well prepared and organized. CJs knowledge and experience in the law enforcement field helped accelerate the class. If an individual is going to consider personal protection I highly recommend CJs advanced class. The class gives you on hands experience in caring out an actual detail. Let me assure you, it was worth the drive (and hotel fee) to go to Houston and take classes from 21St Century. The class is great. I run a security company in Houston and the referred employees I get from CJ's class are better trained and much more attentive to their surroundings. That is just a start on their performace after his class. It doesn't matter if you think your too small, too big, too old, or too young; CJ can get you in the right direction you want to take your career. I've hired numerous of his trainees and sent numerous of my employees to his school which have all turned out to be my best employees. I too took CJ's PPO class and I have furthered my education by far just with his class.

Before I tell about C.J.'s classes that i took let me tell a little about my Security/Police background so you will know that I am knowledgeable to tell a goog class from a GREAT class. My first job in Security started on Dec.24th 1969 at a wage of $1.15 p/h. My next Security job was back in 1972/73 here in Texas, can't remember the pay. My next vinture into the LAW was working for H.P.D. and it gave me the bug to become a COP. I workeed part time, nights and weekends for 2 local cities from 1979 thru1986/87. The first class and first time I meet C.J. was April 18, 2009. His class was "Level IV Personal Protection Officer" and I also took his Tactical Exp. Baton & Handcuffing Techniques. At first I was knot sure how the class was going to be being tought in the location he teaches. Well, all my worries flew away as the class started. I found C.J. to be a VERY QUALIFIED and Knowledgeable instructor. C.J.'s PPO class is THE BEST in this area. If you need/attend a PPO class DON't pass his up as you will be making the mistake of your Security/PPO life. The Baton Class was also a Very Good Class. If you are going to carry an ASP Baton you NEED this class. The next Class I will be taking from C.J. is his Advanced Motorcade,Principle & Detail Movement (PPO). Knowing C.J. as I now do I know that this Class will be GREAT TRAINING for ALL those wanting to do Personal Protection.I know, with my background, that Craig's Classes are at the VERY TOP of any training list/Schools in the State of TEXAS. Keep up the GREAT WORK.

CJ offers a comprehensive class geared toward giving you the knowledge you need to be successful and stay out of trouble. He answers your questions with the law rather than his opinion. This is very important as an instructors' opinion won't keep you out of jail, following the law will.
